Discover Vietnam: The “Mieu Ba” Festival in Vung Tau, Vietnam

The Mieu Ba Festival (Lễ hội Miếu Bà) is held from 16^th to 18^th of the 10^th Lunar month (In 2014, The festival from 7^th to 9^th December)  at Mieu Ba Ngu Hanh Temple (Miếu Bà Ngũ Hành) on Hoang Hoa Tham street, Vung Tau City.

Mieu Ba Temple is only assessible to women and operated entirely by women within. Besides the traditional worship of God, the Mieu Ba festival is also for fun with ac dragon dance, traditional games and Vietnamese opera (Vietnamese: Cải lương) shows in the evening. Many people are attracted by th lively atmosphere on this three-day-pilgrimage.
