Annual Tet art performance welcomes New Year 2015

The State Committee for Overseas Vietnamese Affairs under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) will organize he annual “Xuan Que Huong” (Homeland Spring) art performance to greet overseas Vietnamese who come home for the traditional Lunar New Year (Tet)on February 7th, 2015.

The art program will be held on February 7th-8th in Ho Chi Minh City.

As the country will mark several significant anniversaries in 2015 such as the 70th National Day, the 85 th founding anniversary of the Communist Party, and especially the 40 th anniversary of the liberation of the southern region, the program will take the theme of “Glorious Homeland”.

There are currently around 4 million Vietnamese living and working in 103 countries and territories worldwide.

The event attracts to see the attendance of high-ranking Party and State leaders and many Vietnamese overseas returning to the country for the Tet holiday.
