Discover Vietnam: Halong Bay listed in top 8 Green Spaces in Asia

visavietnam.net.vn - With such special values, at the 18th Session of UNESCO’s Council of World Heritage held on 17 December 1994 in Thailand, Hạ Long Bay was officially placed on the list of the World Natural Heritage. In 2000, UNESCO recognized it as the World Heritage for the second time for its geographical and geomorphologic values. This confirms the global premier value of Hạ Long Bay.

Agoda.com, one of Asia’s leading hotel booking websites, has cited Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island as a “must-visit” and one of the eight most memorable green spaces for travellers in Asia.

“Halong Bay is one of Vietnam’s most popular destinations, and carries the awards and badges to match its beauty. It is both a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and alongside the Cat Ba National Park, a Special National Landscape Site,” the site reports.
Halong Bay garnered 4.23/5 points and ranked in fourth place. The result is based on customer feedback that used services in Halong Bay left on the web. The location is chosen as it receives high marks and many positive comments.
